Summit eventually won this one going away, but the first half was a major battle. Summit came out of the 1st quarter with a 4 point lead led by 6 points from Jon Campagna. Chatham fought back to make it a 3 point game at the half behind 15 first half points by Paul Devine. In the process Devine picked up 3 fouls. Campagna finished the half with 12 of his personal season high 16 points. In the 2nd half Summit made some defensive changes that, in conjunction with Devine's 4th personal foul early in the 3rd, kept Chatham's star scoreless for the entire 2nd half. Chatham was held to only 3 points in the 3rd quarter and Summit increased the lead to 10 points. Kurt Forsyth turned up the heat in the 4th quarter as he hit for 6 field goals and 2 free throws that broke the game open. Chatham's packed in defense hadn't provided many driving opportunities for Forsyth in the first three quarters. But as Chatham was forced to move their defense out to press for turnovers, Kurt was able to exploit the openings.
