What a difference a day makes. Summit threw off the effects
of the West Essex Loss and throughly thrashed Johnson Regional
(Clark). Ryan Carey (finally playing with his own shoes
again) had a big day as he drained 4 3-pointers, hit 8 of 14
shots and led the team with with 20 points. Kurt Forsyth
had another "double double" as he connected on
6 of 11 from the field, 4 of 5 from the free throw line, and
hauled down an amazing 13 rebounds. Lamar Freeman hit
on 6 of 10 shots, two of them 3-pointers, to rack up 16 points.
Summit hit 30 out 53 shots for a nice 57%, possibly
the best of the season. As an added bonus, JV player Tom Lycan
got on the scoreboard before the buzzer sounded. |
