Summit took command from the beginning when Jon Campagna
scored nine1st quarter points to lead Summit to a 21-7 margin.
Ryan Carey took over in the 2nd quarter by adding 11 points
on the way to a Summit 41-14 half time lead. The game was never
in doubt after the 1st quarter and every player on the squad
got significant playing time. Carey led the overall scoring with
16 points, while Campagna scored 11 and Kurt Forsyth,
Dan Dugan and (5 for 5) each added 10 points. After a
few game of poor shooting percentage, Summit hit on 26 of 47
shots (55%).
Summit must win 4 of the next 7 games if they are to qualify
for the State Tournament. |
