Tue 9/14 Parsippany Hills H Won 2-0...Summit's goals were by Katie Romanovsky and Ali Ballantyne. Senior goalie Abbey Smith had 4 saves to record the shutout.
Sat 9/18 Oak Knoll H 10AM Won 3-0. Senior Ali Ballantyne and sophmore Caitlin Mell scored in the first half. Ali Ballantyne scored again in the second half. Excellent defense led by Heather Theis and Becky Hamway allowed only 2 shots to get through to goalie Abbey Smith. She saved both and recorded her second shutout.
Tue 9/21 Mendham A Won 2-1 Summit improved its record to 3-0 Senior Ali Ballantyne continued her scoring streak by firing in a shot midway through the first half. Senior Beth Hatem connected on a beautiful deflection in the second half to put the game at 2-0. With 5 minutes left in the game Mendham got one past senior goalie Abbey Smith to end the game at 2-1.
Thur 9/23 Mt. Olive A Lost 2-1. Summit took a 1st half lead on a goal from Ali Ballantyne when she converted on a penalty stroke early on in the half. Mt. Olive scored both their goals in the second half on penalty corners. Their winning score came with only 22 seconds remaining.
Sat 9/25 West Essex 10AM Lost 4-1 Summit scored first when Meredith Feezer put back a rebound off a shot by Ali Ballantyne. 12th ranked West Essex tied the score shortly before the end of the first half. Three WE second half goals sealed the loss. Abbey Smith, under heavy pressure, played very well and had 20 saves. Summit managed only 4 shots.
Tue 9/28 Parsippany A Won 2-0. Summit got off to a bit of a shaky start but came out in the second half dominating. Katie Romanovsky scored first on a penalty corner. Martha Bell secured Summit's victory by adding another goal late in the game. Summit's excellent defense prevented Parsippany from taking one single shot during the game and earned Summit's third shutout of the season. 
Thur 9/30 Morris Hills A Won 3-0. Martha Bell, Katie Romanovsky and Beth Hatem all connected to propel Summit over Morris Hills. This was the second game in a row that Summit has kept their opponent shotless.
Mon 10/4 Livingston A Tied 0-0. Watching this game one would have thought that Summit has played every game this season on artificial turf. Summit dominated Livingston on their home turf but couldn't manage to score. Goalie Abbey Smith saved the 9 shots she fired at her to record her fifth shutout.
Thur 10/7 Parsippany Hills A Won 3-0 Summit's Meredith Feezer scored twice and Ali Ballantyne scored once to defeat Parsippany Hills in Parsippany. Abbey Smith earned her 6th shutout of the season by stopping 5 shots at they very end of the game. 
Fri 10/8  W. Morris A Rescheduled from 9/16
Mon 10/11 Union A Won 3-0 Summit outshot Union 13 to 7 and Wendy Havourd stopped all the Union shots to gain a shutout. Summit's three goals were scored by Meredith Feezer, Beth Hatem, and Martha Bell.
Wed 10/13 Westfield H Lost 2-0 Westfield scored two goals in the 1st half and then sucessfully protected the lead in the 2nd half. Westfield has the 2nd seed and Summit is seeded 3rd in the Union County Tournament that starts Saturday.
Sat 10/16 Johnson H Won 2-1 in the1st Round of the Union County Tournament. Summit trailed 1-0 until almost half way through the 2nd half. Then Meredith Feezer tied the score on a penalty shot. With only 5 sec. left in regulation Feezer had an unassisted score to give Summit the victory.
Mon 10/18 Mendham H Tie 1-1 After a scoreless first half, Liz Sheridan gave Summit a 1-0 lead. Five minutes later Mendham tied the score.

Mon 10/25 Westfield A Lost 1-0 Westfield's Valerie Wicks scored with only 1:30 left in the 3rd overtime. Summit was out shot 23-4.

Tue 10/26 West Essex A Lost 5-0 West Essex is 13-1 and ranked 12th in the Star-Ledger Top 20 
Thur 10/28 Parsippany H(JV-A) Tie 0-0 Summit outshot parsippany 13-3. It was Wendy Havourd's first shutout. 
Tue 11/2 Morris Hills H(JV-A) Won 4-1  Martha Bell scored twice and had an assist to lead Summit. Caroline Brewer and Jen Dolny each scored once to complete Summit's scoring.
Fri 11/5  Hopewell Valley H
Group 2 Tourney
Lost 3-2 in overtime. Libby Getzendanner gave Summit a 1-0 halftime lead. However, Hopewell Valley quickly tied the score in 2nd half. The remainder of the half was frustrating for Summit because they kept most of the action at the Hopewell end of the field, but just couldn't score. With 2 minutes left in regulation an apparent winning Summit goal was disallowed. The Summit domination of the game continued at the beginning of overtime, but with 5:30 left HV took the action to the Summit end and scored. A minute and a half later they scored again to take 3-1 lead. In the closing 3 minutes Summit forced the action and had a number of opportunities but no goals. With 20 seconds remaining Meredith Feezer scored to make it 3-2, but there just wasn't enough time left.
Tue 11/9   Mt. Olive H Tied 2-2 with the score tied 1-1 and about 5 minutes remaining, Ali Ballantyne scored to give Summit a 2-1 lead, but 2 1/2 minutes later Mt. Olive scored to tie the game. (Mt. Olive is 15-3-1 and ranked 16th)
