The Summit High School Girls Swim Team kickstarted the week with a win against Kent Place School on Monday, Dec 19 and demonstrated its depth in the process. Not only did the trio of Cecelia Webb, Maeve Caldwell and Ellie Greene sweep the top 3 spots in the 50-yd freestyle, but Summit finished first or second 13 times with big contributions coming from underclassers Caldwell, Greene, Melanie Dripchak, Juliet Ho, Rory Gingeleskie, Katherine Hicks, and Francesca Arcella. After the 100-yd backstroke with points from Hicks, Gingeleskie and Juliet Webb, Summit pushed KPS to the point of no return and secured the win. The final score was 104-66.
