Boys Freshman Soccer had back to back thrillers -First, a 2-1 second half victory over Governor Livingston with goals by Dean Mauriello and Sky Boggio. After being down 0-1 at the half, the Hilltoppers kept their composure with the Varsity Team cheering them on the sideline. Tonight, they faced Kearny who, coming into the match were undefeated and had only conceded 2 goals all season. After falling behind 0-2 early in the first half, Summit brought it within one with a beautiful goal by Ari Roberts to end the half. Coming out strong and working hard, the Hilltoppers tied it with a banger from Thomas Campbell followed by a free kick top shelf goal by Dean Mauriello. They held strong ending the game with 10 on the pitch and stunning the impressive Kearny team. The Hilltoppers are back on the pitch tomorrow with an away game against Bernards at 4pm.
