4:00PM Won 10-5 The Summit JV Baseball team beat Mendham in their first game of the season. It was very cold and WINDY at the field, which made for very tough playing conditions. Pat Birosak pitched a very solid 5 innings. Matt Rea had three hits and scored three runs to lead the offense.

4:00PM Lost 7-4 This was a very well played game by both sides. Tom Casey and Jay Cristfield kept Summit in the game with 7 strong innings of pitching but with the score 3-3 in the bottom of the 6th Hanover Park broke the game open with 4 runs to win it. Greg Lasaracino came up with a big hit (a double) to keep Summit in the game early.

4:00PM Win 10-5 Pat Birosak pitched five innings and helped himself when he smacked a double over the center fielder's head.  The score was tied at 3-3 early in the game when two spectacular defensive plays prevented Par Hills from taking the lead.  Left fielder Greg Lasarcino had a perfect throw to catcher Reid Van Syckle for a dramatic out at the plate. Matt Rea made a diving catch in center field.and was on base 3 times to lead Summit's offensive attack. Jay Cristfield and Pat Birosak both had two hits

4:00PM Won 15-1 Jay Cristfield pitched 5 strong innings. Matt Kramer had 3 hits (a mini-cycle - single, double & triple). Kevin Johnson had a double late in the game which scored to more runs and put the game out of reach for Dover.

TBA Won 15-4 Shawn Hillas and Pat Birosak both pitched very well for Summit. Chris George led Summit's Offense with a triple and an inside the park home run. Matt Rea scored 3 runs and went 4 for 4 at the plate and Matt Kramer went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles.

4:00PM Lost 5-3 Jay Cristfield pitched an excellent 5 innings to keep the game close, but Summit was unable to put anything together at the plate after scoring 3 runs in the first two innings.

4:00PM Lost 13-3 Summit struggled defensively with multiple errors early on that gave West Essex a lead which they could not come back from.

4:00PM Lost 11-1 Summit Once again struggled in the early innings. Trailing 9-0 after the 2nd inning Shawn Hillas did a nice job holding Mendham to just 2 runs the rest of the game, but Summit could not manage to get anything going offensively.

Wed 04/30 Away New Providence (UCT) Lost 4-3 Summit battled New Providence the entire 7 innings but could not get the big hit they needed. Pat Birosak did a nice job on the mound and Jay Cristfield had 2 hits.

4:00PM Won 16-0 Summit played very solid defense behind Jay Cristfield who pitched a five inning shutout. Freshman Nick Oristanio and Matt Dewald moved up and both had important hits which give the team a boost.

4:00PM Won 5-4 This was the best game of the season by far. Summit trailed by two runs in the top of the 8th but came back with 3 to win the game in the bottom of the inning. Shawn Hillas did an outstanding job on the mound. Reid VanSyckle had a HUGE 2 run triple. Matt Rea had the game winning hit with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th.

4:00PM Won 12-10 Summit took a 10-1 lead into the 5th inning, but Parsippany Hills battled back and tied the game at 10. Summit never gave up, scoring 2 runs in the top of the 6th to regain the lead. Greg Lasaracino hit a 3 run HOME RUN early in the game to lead Summit's offense. Matt Kramer pitched the final 3 innings and held off Parsippany Hills late rally.

4:00PM Won 15-4 The Summit JV team was missing some of their star players against Dover but everyone stepped it up. Mike Steinberg got a two run double. Pat Huck and Chris George both had triples. Pat Birosak pitched very well.

4:00PM Won 6-5 In the final game of the season the JV Baseball team played very well. Shawn Hillas pitched 5 solid innings and Pat Birosak came in to finish things up. The team finished a very successful season with a conference record of 9-5 and an overall record of 1
