11:00AM Won 8-7 Tara O'Malley fired a shot over the goalie for the game-winning goal with just four seconds remaining to give unbeaten Summit an 8-7 victory over West Morris. Sophomore goalie Sarah Weber had a big day with 14 saves against the strong West Morris attack.

West Morris held a 4-3 lead at halftime but Summit rallied to take a 5-4 lead. However, West Morris appeared to take control of the game midway in the second half when it scored three straight goals for a 7-5 lead. But Summit cut the lead to 7-6 at the 8:04 mark as O'Malley scored again, this time on an assist from senior Kathleen Lyons, who added two goals and an assist. A free-position shot into the left side of the cage by junior Suzanne Bell evened the game at 7-7 with 5:05 to play.

4:00PM Won 7-6 Junior Jamie Osmulski scored both of her goals in the final 10:07 to propel Summit, No. 11 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, past Roxbury, 7-6, yesterday in Roxbury. Osmulski snapped a 5-5 tie with her first goal, then provided a 7-5 lead with 8:55 remaining for Summit (4-0). Nora McGuire had three goals and Meaghan Carey two while goalie Sarah Weber made nine saves. For Roxubry (3-1), Danielle Conwell put in four goals.

UCT Final vs. Kent Place
TBA Lost 13-10 Summit battled Kent Place, No. 16 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, to a 5-5 tie at the end of the first half. Early in the second half Summit fell behind 9-6 and things looked grim. However, Summit showed a lot of fight in rallying to tie the score. Meaghan Carey scored off the left post on a feed from Nora McGuire, then Tara O'Malley hit on a wraparound shot. McGuire, who had six assists, fed Osmulski on the left side to tie the game at 9-9 at the 15:01 mark. Kent Place scored the next 3 goals to make the score 12-9. Jamie Osmulski's fifth goal got Summit (14-5) within 12-10 at the 9:55 mark. However, Elaine Welch scored the last of her game high 6 goals to put the game out of reach.

Jamie Osmulski led Summit with 5 goals and Meaghan Carey scored 3 goals, Kathleen Lyons and Tara O'Malley each added one goal.

Summit opens state play tomorrow in South Jersey, Group 1 at Rumson-Fair Haven.
