On paper, it looked like this game could go either way. The teams had faced common opponents in New Providence and Chatham. Chatham, which Summit recently beat convincingly, whooped Cranford. New Providence, which Cranford beat twice convincingly, routed Summit.

Summit jumped out to a 11 point lead in the first half and never relinquished it. Final score, 58-45. Myles Blackley led Summit with a game-high 20 points, followed by Brett Colon (15) and Wes Hellings (12).
