This week was a significant one for the Hilltoppers as a team but was also very significant for a handful of individuals. Here are the highlights:
Zoe Zacharias – Youngest Player to Reach 500 Assists in SHS History… School Record is 624 by Gabby Mejia… Zacharias is also chasing the single season record of total assists which is held by Lauren Trindell at 426… Zacharias is currently at 168 assists with only 8 matches in the season… Of note, Zacharias already holds the single season record for assists/set at 8.06 and is currently at 8.80… new career high in digs vs. Kent Place with 6 digs
Vivian Roberts – Only the 3rd Lady Hilltopper to reach the 300 kill mark and 5th player overall in Summit History… School Record is 438 by Lindsay Leiter… Roberts is also chasing Leiter’s single season kill record of 230 kills and 4.10 kills/set… Roberts is currently at 78 kills and 3.90 kills/set with only 8 matches into the season…
Hannah Barlow – Set a new career high in kills vs. UNION with 15 kills… new career high in digs vs. Kent Place with 15
Alison Wauters – Set a new career high in kills vs. Rahway with 7 kills… new career high in aces vs. Cranford with 5 aces… new career high in digs vs. Kent Place with 11 digs
