Summit traveled to Rahway for a Friday night showdown on the gridiron. Summit struck first, but Rahway battled back to take a tight 13-12 lead at halftime. After a scoreless third quarter, Summit broke things open with 22 unanswered points. Summit’s defense shut Rahway out in the second half, final score: 34-13.
The Hilltoppers will look to extend their winning streak next Friday evening at Cranford (1-0).
