After dominating Governor Livingston on Thursday evening, Girls Soccer tried to continue the trend against Oak Knoll on their grass field in Chatham. Like with any Summit vs Oak Knoll game the momentum swung back and forth until Ashley Thomas found the back of the net with a great volley off a Joelle Ma corner. The team tried to take the game to Oak Knoll but conceded 3minutes later. In the second half the girls tried to build upon our positives but unfortunately conceded two goals directly from corner kicks. The girls continued to play tough but couldn’t find a way to reduce the deficit.
The girls are back out on the field, Thursday @ East Orange 4:15pm Kickoff.
