Leading 25-22 going into halftime, the Hilltoppers were unable to hold on as Branchburg made a crucial free throw to go ahead by one with :20 left in the game. Getting down the court with time, the would-be game winning shot bounced out of the basket as time expired. The team battled hard, with 7th grader Charlotte Yarnall leading scorers with 20 points. Emma Ryan contributed 11 and Mackenna Welsh 10. The team will travel to Bridgewater on Monday 12/20 for their final game before winter break.
