The Hilltoppers closed out their 2022 Nationals experience with the 4×400 in the Rising Star Division and the 4×800 in the Championship Division.
The quartet of Thomas Kohaut, Lucas Kohaut, Xavier Morrissey and James Bunting had run 3:42.64 earlier in the year but on this Nationals Sunday, the 4 boys ripped a 3:36.83, THIRD FASTEST TIME of the year and placed 22nd at Nationals.
The boys also competed in Championship Division in the 4×800 with Ryan Sula, Sam Ard, Marek Muzyka and Teddy Robertson. The group had just shattered the school record at Easterns with a 7:59.20 and entered Nationals as one of the top 25 teams at the meet. The quartet took 12th overall with an 8:00.75, just shy of their school record and proved to be one of the BEST three teams in the entire state and one of the ELITE relay teams at Nationals!
