Summit suffered a tough loss against a strong West Essex team on 9/19 but saw an outstanding perfromance from goalie Lily Spinner with 27 saves! Summit bounced back on 9/21 with a hard fought win against Johnson – the first in 8 years! The game stayed 0-0 until the very end of the 3rd quarter when Darcey Chapman scored from a short corner inserted by Maddie McPherson, Johnson tied the game with 8 mins to go but Darcey scored another from a short corner, again assisted by Maddie with just 3 mins to go and Summit hung on for the win! This game saw another 11 saves from Lily in goal!
