The JV Boys Soccer team under Coach Trench won their home opener 7-0 over Plainfield on a picture-perfect Summit morning.
The stout Hilltopper defense and goalkeepers held Plainfield scoreless and kept feeding the ball to an offense that was firing on all cylinders. Felipe Muro kicked things off with the first goal in a game where 6 Hilltoppers found the back of the net. Pavel Yurkov (2 goals), Danny Sanchez, Ollie Relf, Kealon Knight and Manfred Villegeas all contributing to the big win this morning.
Great win boys – they take the Memorial pitch on Tuesday, September 14th at 4P to take on Union – come cheer them on.
