Fri 12/19 Parsippany A Won 59-34 W 43-14: Summit's press led to many turnovers. Rachael Krom scored 11 points and Katie Allegrini had 10.
Mon 12/22 MorrisHills H Won 39-31 W 42-15: Summit jumped to 12-0 lead with its effective press and coasted to the win. Lauren McMenamy scored 10 and Rachael Krom contributed 8.
Mon 12/29 Holiday Tournament 6PM - Madison Won 75-35 Westfield 44-Summit 37: Westfield broke open a close game with a barrqge of 4th qtr. Points in the Cranford Tourney. Karin Bennett and Rachael Krom led Summit with 12 and 11 points respectively.
Tues 12/30 Holiday Tournament 8PM - Chatham Won 48-29 Summit 24-Cranford 12: Summit couldn't find the hoop, but their tough defense carried the day. Lauren McMenamy led Summit with 8 points, Bita Yektashenas had 6.
Tue 1/6 Boonton-A Won 48-42 W 41-25: Again Summit's press led to a 24-2 1st Qtr. Lead. Molly Monroe, Karin Bennett, Lauren McMenamy and Bita Yektashenas each contributed 8 points in very balanced scoring.
Fri 1/9 Mt. Olive-A Won 60-41 W 29-17: Summit had a 9-3 4th Qtr. advantage to win what had been a fairly close game. Lauren McMenamy scored 9 while Liz Bomgars & Kiley Smithhad 6.
Tues 1/13 Dover-H Won 53-31 W 51-6: Summit's aggressive pressing defense limited Dover to 6 total points. Meghan Hatfield led Summit with 10 points .
Fri 1/16 West Essex-H Won 47-34 W 49-29: Summit's press did it again as we opened a 20-5 lead in the 1st Qtr. Lauren McMenamy had a season high 14 points. Katie Allegrini & Karin Bennett had 9, while Kiley Smith scored 7.
Tues 1/20 Parsippany Hills-A Won 47-41 W 51-37: Summit had its best offensive play execution of the year. Karin Bennett had a season high 17 points. Liz Bomgaars and Rachael Krom scored 9 & 8 points respectively.
Fri 1/23 Hanover Park-H Won 51-41 W 48-30: The press did it again and Summit took a 23 -6 halftime lead. Dana Proper and Liz Bomgaars led the scoring with 10 points each and Bita Yektashenas & Kiley Smith had 6 each.
Tues 1/27 Mendham-A Lost 67-33 L 60-30: Summit took an 11-8 1st Qtr. lead against undeafeted Mendham but ultimately Mendham was too much for us.
Fri 1/30 Parsippany-H Won 51-35 W 58-18: Summit bounced back from their 1st conference loss to crush Parsippany. Katie Allergrini, Karin Bennett, & Dana Proper each scored 10 points, while Rachael Krom pitched in 9.
Tue 2/3 Morris Hills-A Lost 56-34 W 29-21: Summit had to come from behind in a tight defensive struggle. Molly Monroe & Dana Proper led Summit with 5 points each.
Thur 2/5 Boonton-H Lost 60-58 W 53-8: Summit continued to rely on its pressing defense to stifle Boonton. Molly Monroe, Rachael Krom and Liz Bomgaars all finished with 10 points
Tue 2/10 Mt. Olive-H Won 93-38 W 47-21
Thur 2/12 Dover-A Won 52-45 (OT) W 50-11
Mon 2/16 Union UCT Won 54-41 Beat Union 40-23 in the JV section of the UCT
Tue 2/17 West Essex-A Won 49-27 Beat Cranford 37-19 in the JV-UCT
Thur 2/19 Union Catholic (UCT) Lost 43-42 Beat Plainfield 39-35 in the JV-UCT
Tues 2/24 Hanover Park -A Won 53-39 Lost 32-24
Thurs 2/26 Mendham H Lost 63-23 Lost to Westfield 31-29 JV-UCT Finals at the buzzer.
